The Canterbury and District Netball League hold an annual knockout competition during the season; the Ansted Cup and George Wilson Plate.

The Cup is named in memory of Don Ansted, who together with his wife Margaret, the Leagues' President, founded the Canterbury and District Netball League in 1977. Don sadly passed away on 18th August 2006, and it is in his memory that teams now compete each season for the Ansted Cup.

The Plate is named for George Wilson, a valued supporter of our League, and who kindly sponsored the knockout competition
