Canterbury 53 - 42 Lipscomb Volvo

Lipscomb and Canterbury fought it out in a match which, at times, could have gone either way.

Lipscomb and Canterbury both started well finishing the first quarter 10 all. In the 2nd quarter, Canterbury just started to pull away and by the end of the 3rd quarter there were 4 goals separating the teams. Ann Sampson at WA for Lipscomb received Star Player for her team for her strong play and support across the court while on the other side, Best Attack and Defence were awarded to Dee Humphrey at WA for her fast play and support and Tash Guy at GK for excellent defending throughout the game. Tash also received Star Player for her team, emphasising what a brilliant game she had.
By the final quarter, Lipscomb could not pull it back, and Canterbury started to run away with it. At the end of an exciting match the score was 53 - 42 to Canterbury.
